This policy applies to Reflect on the web (reflect.minimalmind.io) and on iOS.

1. Who we are

Reflect (https://reflect.minimalmind.io) is provided by Minimal Mind Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect

Personal data

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Payment information (processed by our payment provider, Stripe — we don't store your full card details ourselves)
  • Journal entries you write in the application.

Non-personal data

  • Web cookies, essential/functional only (used to keep you logged in and the site working — no analytics or advertising cookies)

3. Why we collect it

We collect this data to process your order and provide the Reflect service — creating your account, billing your subscription, and keeping the app working.

5. Sharing your data

We don't share your data with any other parties, with one necessary exception: our payment processor, Stripe, handles your payment information in order to process your subscription. Stripe processes this data under its own privacy policy and does not use it for its own marketing purposes.

We never sell your data, and we don't share it for advertising.

6. How long we keep it

Your personal data and journal entries are kept for as long as your account is active, and deleted when you delete your account.

The one exception: billing records (transaction history, not full card details) are retained for around 6 years after account deletion, as required by UK tax law.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to how we process your data
  • Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we've mishandled your data

8. Children's privacy

Reflect is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email before they take effect.
